After a string of unreliable agency carers we decided to hire a private carer Leanne. Leanne is professional, reliable and offered the best level of service. We were immediately impressed with her knowledge and advice around care and equipment within our mothers home. She is polite, caring, compassionate and skilled in various areas of care. As my mums private carer she also supported our family through the process. My mum was always treated with respect and dignity and we couldn’t be more grateful to Leanne for the service she provided during the most difficult time for our family.

Leanne was an excellent co-worker and a pleasure to know, nothing was too much trouble for her, working with her I found her to be a fast learner, very competant, reliable and she could adapt to and take over any task that was needed on shift, she was well liked by both co-workers and clients alike , I miss working with her.

Leanne was employed as a Personal Assistant/Carer for my 90 yr old mother in her own home from March '21 until April '22. Due to my mother's dementia deteriorating she then went into long term care in a Residential Home. Leanne was flexible with her hours and worked latterly up to approx 27 hrs per week providing day and overnight support. She was jointly funded by Fife Council Direct Payment Scheme and myself. Leanne is a lovely caring young person with a bright cheery personality and a sense of humour. She is very conscientious and has excellent organisation skills and is totally trustworthy. Her duties were dealing with all aspects of personal care, which she carried out with respect and protected my mother's dignity at all times. She did housework, shopping and took my mother out for a drive, stopping off for tea/coffee at local cafes and garden centres. Leanne did very well when dealing with challenging behaviour and stressful times with my mother. She used coping strategies which helped to calm the situation. I would have no hesitation in recommending Leanne for a position in the caring profession. She was a wonderful support to my mother and myself. Her knowledge and understanding of the difficulties that Alzheimers/Dementia brings to families was very beneficial and we appreciated the empathy and support she gave us. I wish her all the best for the future.
